Wiss carpets come from the western part of Iran. The rugs are knotted on warp and weft cotton and the pile is wool. Senneh knots are used most of the time. The large central area of the rugs is often framed by beautiful borders. Usually you will find trees of life and/or geometric motifs in this type of carpet.
