Hamadan Red 61923
The district has more than 3000 villages, so the annual production of carpets is very large. These carpets can be attributed to many different cities. Some of the most famous are Asadabad, Bibikabad, Borchalou, Dergezin, Injilas, Khamseh, Husseinabad, Maslagan, Saveh, Shahsavan, Tafresh, Tuserkan, Zaghe. Hamadan carpets usually have geometrical rod medallions, stylized florals, Herati and rhombus motifs. In older carpets, the bottom colour is often covered by a lattice pattern tone in tone with the ground colour. The fringes consist of a short kilim border, usually with fringes only on one short side.
