Kazak Beige 3827
The Caucasian rug types include prayer rugs as well as rugs with medallion motifs and repeating patterns. As the pattern is built around larger figures, smaller motifs are often used as filler patterns. The patterns are distinguished by their geometric shape. Even when flower and figure representations occur, these are strictly stylized. Carpets called Azarbijan are made in Azarbaijan (republic) which is also called the Caucasus and are reminiscent of Persian Sarab or Ardebil carpets. since 1950 very few carpets were knotted in Azarbaijan, therefore the carpets you see are usually over 70-90 years old.
